Does an copyright notice require a year of creation to be a valid one?

Yes a year was required in the notice for any motion picture photoplay under the 1909 Copyright Act. This notice has no date. The film itself ("CC and Company") is PD.

Does that mean it's going to be up on the Internet Archive?

:) I also suggest Piranha, Piranha(1972) which also stars William Smith.

I have a good print of that one (Piranha, Piranha) which I will be uploading very soon. Its a good "Most Dangerous Game" style picture.

Thanks Video_Cellar! It also contains the very catch folksonglike tune:"Love All Things That Love The Sun."
